I'm working up to publishing my book and I can't decide which photo of me to use on the back cover. Would you take a second and tell me which one you think is best? Just click on its title in the poll below. Thanks!
Several are good. But there are two I don't think are suitable to use at all: Swiss Cafe is fuzzy. African Beach has shadows on your face. If you're good with photoshop, that might be fixable.
Iffy: Red hair doesn't seem to be your norm. Likewise taking the glasses off in Cat Hug doesn't look like "you".
The Shoutlife one is a good pose and expression, but if it were me, that one strand of hair would drive me insane. I keep wanting to push it out of your eye and it's a PHOTO. lol
While Irish Cliff is a nice setting and pose, I think the closeups on your face are better choices.
My favorites are Job Application (makes you look professional) and Photo Booth.
I think most of them are good, but for the back of a book, I'd go with the Irish Beach. It looks like an author's photo, if you know what I mean. It portrays a person beneath the skin, while at the same time is one of the better appealing photos.
Irish beach . . . it makes you look very genuine, it's a good facial closeup, and the setting is perfect both for a book jacket AND considering what's inside the book!

I picked Irish Beach and discovered I'm in the majority. That seals it, doesn't it? LoL. Best wishes as you pick a pic. Lyn from Bloggin' Outloud

They're all great, but I vote for Irish Beach! ~ Amy
I picked cat hug, seemed more "you" to me other than the glasses thing, but the irish beach was a close second.

I like Irish Beach -- it reminds me of Faith in the book.
Irish Beach. My second was job application.
Yeah, go with the Irish Beach. :)
